The story of the West Memphis three, "Devil's Knot" is excellent if anyone is looking for a good read.

I don't think he's gay. I knew a girl who used to date him. Maybe he's changed since then, though.
To: PRND21
Do you think they did it? I know about Paradise Lost, but that was back when I different political orientation.
To: TedsGarage
He used to date girls. But the last couple of years in SF he's been dressing up in girls clothes. I don't think he's had a gf for a long time. You know, being gay is a trendy thing that a lot of these people can't get away from plus it's oh so PC to be a gay male slut.
I'm serious, but I'm sure you know that.

LOL! That picture just screams "Jeez! I never had a chance to even SELL OUT!!!"

After reading the book I feel they clearly did not commit the murders and the local authorities should be locked up.
With no motive, weapon, witnesses or dna they convicted three, included a mentally slow teenager.
Jello is fattening. ;)

Yeah, he could have had the decency to O.D. on heroin like a REAL punk celeb...
he basically disintegrated after his band broke up... a friend who went to the first Lollapalooza here in Portland came back gloating over how when Jello tried his "Spoken Word" act on the crowd, the entire arena started chanting "SHUT THE F*** UP!! SHUT THE F*** UP!! SHUT THE F*** UP!!!" in unison... Jello retired ignominiously...

I met Jello Biafra once, at the Mabuhay Gardens in San Francisco in 1986. He was pretty much what I expected him to be.

I met him too. In fact my bf then knew him and was friends with the egotistical maniacal mean selfish ugly
b@stard. Did I mention he was not a gracious or nice person and used people? Did I mention he was a horrible kind of guy?
Oh and back then I looked like your typical Punk Rock Girl, and you'd think a big star like him had a girl that was PRG, but no, his gf was a preppie wealthy type that wasn't particularly pretty, but I was rather shocked. I was for real, in my mind, he was a fake. He's still fake, and milking the only semi-fame he ever had.
Thank G-D I did not marry the bf I was with at that time. I'm married to a wonderful kind loving fantastic (did I mention HANDSOME) guy. There IS A GOD!
To: fire_eye
Agreed! As soon as loving wonderful hubby makes a good living we're gone. To a nicer place.
To: I_Love_My_Husband
He used to date girls. Hey, he used to be **MARRIED**... and he used to hire private eyes to follow his wife around. (Real "Punk Rock"... yeah...)

She dumped him, remember? For the drummer I think. She's married I hear and last I heard was part of some art group.

Still, they were a great band, for a bunch of Commies. I remember seeing the Dead Kennedys with the Clash and the Crammps at the Kezar Pavillion in 1980. What a show. I was never on a floor that shook so much until the Northridge Quake in '94.

I wouldn't say that; I don't quite remember the details, but a couple of years ago the other former members of DK and Mr. I'm-so-above-greed-and-capitalism were suing each other over song rights. I'm not sure how it turned out, but about a year ago, I was in downtown DC and passed a club where the DKs were playing inside, apparently with a new lead singer. A bunch of dorky Jello loyalists were out front trying discourage people from seeing them.
