He was talking about Hillary just before that..

No, some liberal recently made a comment that Al Gore during his campaigning came off as a gay waiter in his voice and manerisms and that is one of the reasons he lost despite peace and prosperity to campaign on.

He is a liberal, with a sense of humor. Do a Google search of the terms "Billy Crystal", "Gore", and "Gay Waiter" and you'll see where it came from. I think it was a remark Crystal made describing Gore's performance in the first debate.
