Student wants Scouts off campus

SO why not just ignore it? It's not like he's hurting you, or affecting you in any way is he? I mean, it's not like he's created this really huge, slow-loading graphic with those words on it...

Mr. Brandon is not only sexually dysfunctional--sexually very messed up. He is obviously suffering from serious mental aberrations as well. Why else, would he think that he has a right to ban those who do not accept his sadly skewed value system!

It is one thing to deny reality. It is something even more serious to demand that others join you in denying reality. But, then, I guess that is what modern "Liberalism" is really all about.

I wonder if this guy would allow the Rev. Fred Phelps to join his group... (Fred and his "church" are the one's from Kansas who protest funerals with signs of "G-d hates faggots.").

If they weren't allowed to join, I suppose that his group would have to be kicked off campus too... Of course, they'll say that Fred is openly hostile to homosexuals... But then, it seems that homosexuals are openly hostile to Scouts...

The Supreme Court did not rule that "the Scouts have a right to discriminate." In fact, in Dale v. Boy Scouts, it ruled that what the Scouts were doing was "not discrimination." It was, instead, the Scouts exercising their "freedom of association" under the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Discrimination is actually a good thing. It's deciding what one's priorities are, given a set of choices. It's predjucice (pre-judging, based on incorrect or incomplete information) that's bad... Personally, I'd love it if discrimination were completely outlawed... Then, Heidi Klum would HAVE to marry me, since she wouldn't have a say in the matter... You see, by saying "no," she's discriminating against me.

As I posted before, I'd really love to see some of the most virulent anti-gay protesters try to join some of the gay support groups, then take them to court... Or even better, have members of the Aryan Nations join the NAACP!

I am outraged by this. I think The National Honor Society should be banned from the CCC campus because it discriminates against the academically challenged! The football team and all sports teams should be removed from all public schools for discriminating against those less physically fit. Cheerleading should be banned because it discriminates against ugly people.... I mean come on!
