Given the state of affairs in California and perhaps other states soon, do you suppose that one day the co-parents of an adopted child will be allowed to step in loco parentis determine whether an aminiocentesis test or a gender-test ought be performed if a pregnancy ought to go full-term if there is a comatose female of gay parents and the state has no one else to turn to?

There was talk a couple of years ago that there was a difference in the brain between gays and straights, the gay community loved it, they could now say they were born that way.....until the same doc who did it also noted that if they could identify it prenataly, letting parents now in advance if they child was going to be gay with the obvious hint that the parents would probably choose abortion at that point.

Showtime I think actually made a movie with that concept for cable.
