France's recently appointed ambassador to Israel, Gérard Araud, has caused a diplomatic row by calling Prime Minister Ariel Sharon a "lout" and describing Israel as a "paranoid country."
The French ambassador allegedly made the comments at a reception, where he was overheard by a journalist who published them in an Israeli newspaper.
The incident prompted calls from Israel's education minister, Limor Livnant, for Israel to reject the ambassador's credentials.
Mr Araud denies the allegations.

Maybe the French would become 'paranoid' too if their families would be blown up in busses or at parties.
On the other side, the don't really care for over 10.000 deaths in a month more or less.

Better to be "paranoid" than "pussy".

Maybe if the French were a little more 'paranoid' about the Germans in the 1930's they could've successfully defended their country (for a few days longer).
And maybe if the French were a little more 'paranoid' about the Islamists currently infesting their country they'd have a chance of suriviving the next 20 years. As it stands, they have no chance.

Hey, give the French dude a break.
It's not as if the Islaminazi's were blowing up a French bus with French citizens.
Besides, what do you expect from a country with 15% of its voting citizens are Muslim wackos.

Jews, the elderly...Wonder who's next on their list? Themselves. Suicide is next, but it's a slow process.

So, the ambassador to Israel insults the very country he's supposed to be spreading goodwill in? How very civilized. Didn't he listen when his mama told him if he didn't have any nice to say to not say anything at all? Oh never mind, the French let their parents die daily from lack of care.
To: knighthawk
What else should one expect from a people who leave their elderly unattended in un-air conditioned homes in the middle of a heat wave while they romp at the beach for a month? The whole world knew that France was in the middle of a heat wave and still more than 11,000 died because these clods didn't have the decency to check on their own parents!
What a shitty little country.

France's new envoy to Israel: Sharon is a ''lout''
France's newly-appointed ambassador to Israel termed Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon as a "lout" and said Israel was "paranoid" during a recent foreign office cocktail party in the capital of Paris, according to an Israeli daily.
One of the Tel Aviv-based newspaper, Yediot Aharonot's reporters, Boaz Bismut, said he had overhead a conversation between Gerard Araud, who is expected to take up his position next month, and two other veteran diplomats in the gardens of the Quai D'Orsay.
Bismut said he then introduced himself to the incoming ambassador, who told him, "You don't intend to write that," explaining that his remarks were made in the course of a private party.
However, the reporter wrote that he believed that the comments "were sufficiently serious" to warrant their publication.

If Israel has any self-respect they will declare the ambassador persona non grata and tell Paris to shove it.

It's not as if the Islaminazi's were blowing up a French bus with French citizens. Which, if it happened, would probably bring on hysterics from the fèces de poulet French.
And nothing more.

I wish we had a French freeper who could report to us if there's any organized political "resistance" to the anti-American, anti-Semitic French government.
BTW, anyone know whatever happened to our astute British freeper/commentator, Mad Ivan? His last post was early May.

"It's not as if the Islaminazi's were blowing up a French bus with French citizens." Hey, give the Jihadis a bit of time. I'm sure they will get a "round tuit".
