Whoever made the complaint to the ethics committee made a big, big mistake. This issue is not going away.

"It's about time we had some revolutionary butt kicking in the direction you suggest."

It would be interesting to plaster copies of the 10 Commandments on the windshields of these judges' cars.

The attacks on tradition and decency have been coming one right after another lately...note that a Florida judge today ruled that a husband can starve his wife to death to collect on the life insurance.

It's time for Bush and the 'pubs to drop the nuclear option on judicial appointments, fill the ranks with GOOD judges, and make sure Chief Justice Moore is one of them.

I'm guessing this is some state of Alabama judicial review panel.

It is. The complaint accused Moore of contempt of court because the eight associate justices had to overrule him.

These are ALABAMA judges reviewing this, and they apparently found enough evidence of contempt to move forward with a full blown trial.

He is suspended with pay.

If found guilty, he would be removed from office.

The House did pass a bill to cut funding to the Judges needed to enforce their will on Moore but the Senate Club waffled...naturally.

A Florida judge. No say it isn't true. They were so helpful during the 2000 election, I'm surprised that one would make a stupid decision like that. </sarcasm off>

Sadly this is near an election year and the Conservatives do not want to get into a war of words with the rats who have no respect for the rule of law and are not require to. Remember, it is only the GOP that is require to respect the law. This is a lose/lose senerio.

Well we have to think of something. Some people have been making hints of violence. And if we don't think of something, it's going to get a lot more ugly. I don't want to make martyrs of these creeps.

It is no coincidence that this is happening in Alabama. The statue/10 commandments have been there for well over a year.

Alabama Atty General = Bill Pryor,
US Senate Judicial Committee fillibuster = Bill Pryor's appointment

To those who thought the US Senate Judiciary Committee fillibuster and the pubbies inability to do anything about the fillibusters: Your strategery at work.

The message to Pryor was--play ball or your nom will never get out of the US Senate Judiciary Committee.

As a nation of Christians, why can't we worship our God as se see fit?

Do you have to put a rock in a courthouse to worship God?

Who says you can't worship God as you see fit, as long as you don't use the government to advocate the worship?

These are ALABAMA judges reviewing this, and they apparently found enough evidence of contempt to move forward with a full blown trial.

And which also makes the calls to suspend the pay of the federal judiciary sort of pointless. Not that you could do such a thing under Article III to begin with, but there you go.
