I think Arnold is attracting some of the best talent out there, and that will be good for California.

Most over-rated man in the history of finance.

From the Center for Reclaiming America:
Warren Buffet serves as one of the abortion industrys top financiers. In 2002, Buffet donated over $11 million to the abortion industry. In 2001, Buffett donated over $9 million to Planned Parenthood, the worlds largest abortion provider. According to Business Week, the Buffett foundation made a $20 million commitment to International Projects Assistance Services, a company that actually manufactures suction pumps used in abortion procedures. Steve Mosher, director of the Virginia-based Population Research Institute, spoke on behalf of pro-life shareholders at the Berkshire Hathaway, Its the money to actually do the abortions
the nuts and bolts, the hard stuff that he funds.
I could not in conscience vote for anyone who trusts this guy for advice.

Warren Buffett has announced that he will leave his entire $1 billion + estate to (drum roll): Planned Parenthood, thereby furthering the goal of America's leading force for the death by mutilation of unborn innocents. Other than hoping, therefor, that Buffett may die penniless in a pauper's home lest a nickel go to Baby Murder, Inc., I really don't need to know anything more.
Then I learn via the internet that Buffett is Schwarzenkennedy's "financial advisor" that he thinks Proposition 13 is a bad idea (presumably because it protects other folks from tax hikes also, that he was in love politically with the Arkansas Antichrist and the Scwarzenkennedy describes him as his HERO and as his MENTOR. AAAAAARGH. Enough of the entire curious crew.

"What do you think of Warren Buffet?" Who? Warren Buffoon? Never heard of him.

He's another of the oligarchy.
Superrich Buffett in league with others like Soros and Gates who think that since they have megabucks they also have the wisdom from the foundations of the earth.
Never works for long.....and Soros is simply annoying.

Warren "all the taxes you can eat" Buffet (spelling intentional) is a typical limousine liberal. Anyone who can't see that taxation on dividends is double taxation is an idiot in my book.

Just a meddling Jackass on Prop 13.
If CA needs more $$$, write them a check Warren - don't screw-over the rest of the people.

I think Buffet's only positives are that he knows how to make money, and he owns Dairy Queen. Other than that, I'd rather he crawled back into the liberal hole he came from.

Saint Warren owns 38% of Berkshire Hataway which owns 100% of Kirby Vacuums. Read about this rotten company at these links.

In financial matters the guy knows his stuff. There's no other rational way to explain his continuous, long-term success.
His recommendations on ways to solve California's fiscal crisis are worth listening to. What are they? Does anyone know? He thinks Proposition 13 should be revisited - that propety taxes are too low. Well, what are the details of his proposal? How does he propose to change things for the better? I remember how proposition 13 was sold - it would prevent seniors from being tossed into the street and would allow middle-class and blue-collar workers to own and keep homes in much greater numbers. I also remember what the critics of the time said - that this was a smokescreen to hide the real beneficiaries; extremely rich land speculators and multiple home owners. What does Buffet have to say about this?
His criticisms of the Bush tax cuts followed the same lines as the critics of Prop. 13 - the principal beneficiaries were very wealthy individuals. I don't know whether he was right but does anyone seriously question his ability to analyze financial statements?
Criticism of his social positions are nothing but irrelevant, viscious smears - motivated by dislike of his financial recommendations. He's not been hired to give advice on social issues.

The ultimate insider -- he makes money because he has access very few others get. That's why he rails against CEO's being obsessed with quarterly numbers. Such information enables even the common man to actually look up key company info. Info that Warren would prefer to keep under wraps until he maxxed out his investments.
