But it's NOT a good thing. The Lockerbie attack was investigated, indictments were handed down and goats were sacrificed by Quaddaffi in celebration of it. It went through the entire legal process and took YEARS.

If Lybia is behind the explosion of hte French airliner, let Jaques goe through the same investigative procedure and rule of law that the families and governments affected by the Lockerbie attack went through.

Let's just say that Jaques has not made his case that Quadaffi is holding the smoking gun behind the UTA explosion.

My view is, the US needs to keep our foot on Kadaffi's neck for as long as he is in control of Libya. When the day comes that this tin-pot Colonel stands trial for the Pan American explosion (in the US or the UK) then I'd be willing to consider lifting sactions. If he wants to send money to the relatives of his victims and they're willing to accept it--fine with me.
