There was a homeless guy there, with his pants down and he had just taken a S**t on the seat. Nice, huh?

That'll clear out a room fast.

Having experienced the pleasure of the 7 line, I am bowled over. Given the, uhmm, pungent smells regularly eminating from the cars, tracks, crevices... I am shocked to learn that there is something bad enough to merit attention on that line, much less scare away the rats. I thought NYC rats were second only to our 4-inch roaches in shrugging off chemical warfare.

I rode the No. 7 train for years. And I remember what Rocker said about it and I remember thinking "How true".

Just the smell blasting up through the sidewalk air vents as passing subway trains displaced the air in the tunnels was enough to make me swear to never enter the NY subway system!

All this talk from all of you is making me think maybe we Texans are wise to stick with our automobiles and leave those stinking trains to the yankees---LOL!

Actually, once you get outside the Main St. area, its a great place to live. I take the LIRR from Auburndale and have given up on taking the bus to the 7, much too much time during rush hour.

The shopping can't be beat.
