Gore Asked Cuomo to Promote His Presidential Candidacy
NewsMax.com ^ | 8/07/03 | Carl Limbacher and NewsMax.com Staff

Former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo said yesterday that he wanted Al Gore to run for president. No one outside the Democrat establishment cares what Cuomo wants, of course, but here's the juicy part: Gore asked him to say that.

That's what Fox News Channel reported this morning, quoting former Clinton adviser Dick Morris.

FNC also reported that although Gore claimed he was speaking to an appeasement group today at its request, it was he who asked to speak. Gore's appeasement speech is an attempt to steal the wind from surprise Democrat front-runner Howard Dean, FNC said.

Gore still insists he does not want to be president. But then, he's a good liar. He's had so much practice.

I listened to the WROR Albany NY radio interview with Fred Dicker of the NY Post and Mario the Pious Cumo.

It was clear that Mario was floating the trial balloon WITH Gore's blessing.

Cumo hates the klintoons as they abandoned little Andy in his race for NYS Governor. He also resents them being the power brokers in NY where he (Mario) was king of the Dem Party for almost 2 decades.

Mario is happy to help Gore because it pisses off the Klintoons and Mario still probably would just love a SCOTUS appointment.

Dr. Dean has panicked the establishment candidates. These clumsily executed intrigues should only enhance Dean's alure.

Hillary doesn't dare allow Al to get the nomination.

On the outside chance that he could make it all the way, that forces her to wait until it's too late for her to run.

The only reason the Clintons picked Al for VP was that he is a big stupid oaf that talks like a kindergarten teacher talks to her class and wouldn't take any of the spotlight away from them.

I'm not sure I agree with the take that Shrillary will be too old to run in 2012. She'll be 65, which was the same age as Reagan in 1976 when he ran and lost to Ford in the primaries by a whisker.

Of course, in nine more years she might not be as telegenic as she is now.

I have never doubted that Gore would be the nominee in '04.It does screw things up a bit for Shrillery, unless, of course, she is his running mate.

If your scenerio actually happened, I doubt even Lloyds of London would insure Gore.

She certainly will be too fat. If she wins it will take an Air Force One that is larger than a Boeing 747 to get her fat head and fat gut off of the ground.

Watching the Dims is like a Keystone Kops episode. They just keep crashing into each other.

But the DLC HATES Dean, so why would he work with them?

Women can't get hired into any job when they hit 40. What makes you think the country will vote for an entry-level politican to be President who happens to be a 65-year old woman?

I believe this is further evidence of the racist conspiracy of the RATs to deny the nomination to frontrunner Al Sharpton. THEY HAVE NO SHAME!

I hired a lady who was in her late forties into our company a couple of years ago at a mid-level management position. She's doing a fine job.

I hardly think a current or former US Senator would be considered an entry-level politician.

Mario invited Gore, but Gore invented the invitation.

Hillary may not be too old to run in 2012 but she certainly will be too ugly.

Ha! Now, this is funny. Poor Al, he may just fall victim to an unfortunate accident or maybe he is suffering from depression and doesn't realize it yet.

If anyone should know not to F with Hitlery--it should be he.
