Bride's Magazine Carries Story on Same-Sex Weddings, NYT Says
July 28 (Bloomberg) -- Conde Nast Publication Inc.'s Bride's magazine has addressed the issue of same-sex weddings with a full- page article, marking a first for any of the five top-selling U.S. bridal magazines, the New York Times reported.
The article, titled ``Outward Bound'' and appearing in the September-October issue, discusses recent developments in same- sex ceremonies, and urges readers to try to avoid panic if invited to a gay wedding, the Times said.
Bride's, begun in 1934, is the oldest and largest of the national wedding magazines, with a circulation of 402,897, the Times said, citing the most recent data from the Audit Bureau of Circulations. Conde Nast is owned by Advance Publications Inc.
``Maybe a cynical person would say they just want our business,'' Cathy Renna, news media director for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, told the Times. ``But if you want to have a wedding, these are the publications you'll read. A story like this really energizes the gay and lesbian community.''

I can just see it now. Wedding dresses for the "male bride". Wedding cakes with 2 men on top.

It's all commercialism. Homosexual men have made a lot of money through the ages on designing and planning weddings for women and men. Now no one in the industry will say no to their same sex wedding agenda -- they ARE the people in the industry!

I dont need to "avoid" panic. I just "avoid" all perversions, and those who commit them.

With internet sources available for planning weddings, guess the magazine is looking to recoup some of their losses.
