1. It's Reagan and Gorbachev's fault.
2. Economic coercion was used to break apart Yugoslvia, complete with a timeline for secession rather than the same economic factors that rendered the rest of Eastern Europe's economies basket cases by 1990 affecting Yugoslavia.
3. The fact that Living Marxism is... let me repeat that name: Living Marxism, is bankrupt due to their inability to support Diechman's article in court is irrelevant - use of said article can be continued regardless of the fate of said rag, and furthermore, one can lie about the ICTY's findings in regards to Trnopolje as if one read them in a foreign language and it merely translated into the opposite of what it says in English.
Trnopolje was also a notoriously brutal camp, although a few witnesses testified that conditions in Trnopolje were more bearable than in Omarska and Keraterm. Food, water, and hygiene facilities were far less than adequate, and violence was pervasive throughout the camp.
or...
As to the characteristics of the Trnopolje camp, the Trial Chamber obtained no evidence that could lead to the conclusion beyond reasonable doubt that the entire camp was fenced off deliberately as such, although parts of it were enclosed by a pre-existing wall. However, "even if there had been just a line on the ground, nobody would have dared cross it", on account of the fact that the camp was guarded on all sided by the army. There were machine-gun nests and well-armed posts pointing their guns towards the camp.
Ergo - no fence equals Club Med.
Got it, thanks.
I suppose it's pointless to add that some of the 200 odd men murdered on Mt. Vlasic in August of 1992 were taken from Trnopolje - just another fact for you and yours to ignore, distort, or flat out lie about.
