Putin urges to do away with bureaucracy in minor businesses

MOSCOW, July 23 (Itar-Tass) --President Putin. who met regional governor of the Yaroslavl region Anatoly Lisitsin on Wednesday,has called to do away with bureaucracy that hinders development of minor and medium size businesses on a regional and federal levels.

Speaking to the president, the regional governor admitted that the problem of minor enterprises was not settled yet because large credits loaned for a long period were inaccessible to minor enterprisers. According to the regional governor, he believes in the reform of the banking sector as a saving factor that will help implement the tasks set forth by President Putin to double the Gross Domestic product by the year 2010.

Does everyone hear that "giant sucking sound"? It's all the entreprenuers and small business owners in this hyper regulated overtaxed country drawing a breath to say "I should check Russia out".
