Not even if Xena's Guy leaves me for a 19-year-old toned busty hottie?

No rational guy is going to trade in a twenty-something toned, busty, hottie for a 19-year-old anything. Trust me on this. The 19-year-olds are too much into their own late-adolescence, regardless of how toned their bodies are

I'm serious, too. Check my flag. I'm really seriously considering a move to such a location.

In this situation, one must remember the Cardinal Rule of Expectations:

Me, I've been married three times. Luckily, the third time was the charm.

I knew my sweetheart was the one for me when I was surveying her collection of books and came across "Applied Cryptography" in her personal library. I took it out and held it up and asked, "Which class had this as required reading?"

"None. I got that for my own personal interest," she answered.

It was then I knew she was the girl for me! :)

My ex (female) hit me far more times than I ever hit her (in fact I believe I hit her once). Alcohol and aspirin work to deaden the pain. I have pictures of myself after a couple batterings, but they are too embarrassing to post.

"Well can you really blame us poor, soft, weak women for being fearful of big, mean men? *patting hubby's 9mm and waiting for the answer* :)"

9mm, the ultimate restraining order. :)

Actually, men have been portrayed as idiots so long now in the media, it's a wonder men even talk to women.

I found a man who doesn't have cable. I grabbed him, quick!!

"I’m 42, I’ve dated a women for 8 years. Been engaged for 2 years. She has two kids from a previous marriage. Even though I have known and trusted her for years Marriage scares the Beejeesus out of me. "

Trust is the most valuable thing in a marraige. If you really trust her, you'd take the leap. And if she's really deserving of your trust, you'll both be very happy.

It's the chain saw, right ;)

Geez, I can't compete with that. All I can work is a riding lawn mower.

Date locally, marry gloablly.

It's a small world, and the Intenet has made it smaller. Men do have a choice and are highly desirable as hubands by women in many other countries. American men are increasingly making that choice.

Committment is not a male responsibility.

Committment is not the draft, we don't have to sign up for it when we're 18.

Committment is only required when there is something to be committed to...such as AFTER the vows have been spoken, or AFTER the child is born.

Men are not Committed to making women happy.

Men are not the eternal "father figure" and owe women absolutely nothing.

It is not a man's job in life to bow and curtsey to ever woman's dream of home, children, jewelry, riches, social standing and/or status.

Actually, like everything else, the roles are reversed and it is really women who shun committment, other than being committed to expecting they are owed something in life other than breath and freedom.

I like the joke that goes, "Next time, I'm not going to get married, I'm going to find a woman I hate, and buy her a house.".

Women looking for committment [read: looking for someone to keep her up] can all go into old age, alone and wrinkled for all I care.

For me it was finding "Atlas Shrugged" next to "How to Brew Your Own Beer."

Women always complain there are not enough single men. From my perspective that definition needs to be expanded.

To a single woman seeking a "good" man, the definition of a "good man" is as follows: He is single, fabulous looking--six pack abs 0% body fat. He can dance, has no hair on his back but plenty on his head and its always styled and short. He has straight teeth, no glasses, and is 6' or taller. He has a $50,000+/year job--adjusted for cost of living wherever you are in the country and if he doesn't have a great job, he has a great line of B.S. Ideally he is is at least management level in some company, and is not blue collar, He doesn't own a motorcycle but he has a great set of wheels a BMW, Mercedes, or something slick and trendy. He loves animals, especially cats--hunting is absolutely OUT. When she comes over, or she starts living with him, he ignores her and plays with his video games--she calls this being non-possesive to cover the truth--or some other activity that allows her to go out and screw around with a "bad boy"--the guy that has the motorcycle--behind his back. The reason for the first guy, is she has someone she can control and gets money from and is easy on the eyes so when he does draw himself out of his video game and wants sex its not a big deal--The other guy is for the excitement he provides the thrills and she doesn't have to worry about him having a job. To the type of woman in this article (about 75% of the eligible female population, by my estimates ;-) ) the only thing that matters is a meal ticket and sex...thats all commitment and marriage are to them.

And if you don't believe me, guys, try this---next time you are out and trying to get a date with that woman that you would love to get to know, casually mention one of the following A.) I'm currently unemployed, B.)Hobbies? Well I am involved in shooting sports, I enjoy hunting. C.)--If the subject of sex comes up--- I am waiting for marriage, I think the right woman would be worth it, don't YOU feel that society places too much emphasis on sex?
I can almost guarantee you will see a smoke trail as she beats feet to the nearest exit.

just my two bits, and if I strike a nerve with someone and get flamed for it, just remember--I wouldn't have said it if it were not true.

Trust is the most valuable thing in a marraige.

Well of COURSE.

So NATURALLY I'd need to blow THAT right away.

I mean, it's MANDATORY that I do the exact wrong thing in every situation throughout life!

Wife: “I want what I want when I want it!”

Husband: “You’ll get what you get when you get it!”

If both requirements are met, it will be a long happy marriage.

If either is not held, it will be a short unhappy marriage.

Curiously, my ex-wife was fine with A) and B), which were true at the time. (B is still true of course).

"The threat is in the female magazines which, like TV, imprint very unrealistic expectations. Look at the very highpoint of the lives of most females, the wedding ceremony. After the wedding spectacular, it is down hill for almost every female."

So find a woman that doesn't read the women's magazine's and doesn't want a big wedding. My hubby and I were both very happy with our $40 wedding at the courthouse after a pre-wedding meal from Hardee's drive-thru. Life could only go up from there. LOL I think everyone should elope and save the wedding money for either a nice vacation or a house. We didn't have the money for either of those but we still turned out just fine.
