What a bunch of crap. I am not a republican, nor a "Bush lover" per se, but my personal opinion is that Bush and his administration has very carefully
UNDERSTATED the WMD justification for going into Iraq. This opinion is based on hundreds of hours of sorting through wildly opinionated press stories on both sides and sorting through it to try to find the underlying facts. I have searched and studied through the morass of fact finding UN reports and there is enough evidence in them, to convince anybody of the seriousness of the threat - if you just take the time to read them. For that matter, you can easily build a solid case based soley on what Iraq itself has admitted, by their own word.
It is amazing to watch the press ramble and rant about things that are supposition and political commentary, but not investigative reporting. It also betrays the liberal leanings and political slants of the press, once you have some idea of what is known and agreed upon fact, and what is conjecture and supposition.
There is no doubt that Iraq once had WMD and their programs constituted a dire threat, not just to the US, but to the entire world, including the people of Iraq. What has happened to those weapons and programs and materials is in doubt, but their existance and the intent to use them is not.

What do you mean it was the central justification for the war and hundreds of Americans and hundreds of billions of dollars have been spent on the war so I think we have a right to know why nothing they have told us has come true.
