Aside from what you said, how is something welfare when it's your own money? If your taxes go towards public schools, and you have to send your kids to public schools, you're just using your share of what YOUR money paid for.
The poster I was responding to said that school vouchers were nothing more than welfare checks. I disagree, and I highlighted that disagreement by the statement about everyone who uses public education receiving welfare.
Parents should be allowed to send their kids to their school of choice, public or private.
