On the CBS Evening News a bit ago, reporter David Martin broke an exclusive that the Iraqi leader who may have met with Mohamed Atta in Prague prior to his terrorist attack on 9/11 has been caught. It will be interesting to see if he says anything.

...To the contrary, it was only my fellow Battle of IA DRANG-1965 Veteran ..and WTC Tower 2 Morgan Stanley Head of Security.. RICK RESCORLA ..that went out and tracked down the Blind Muslim Cleric in Brooklyn who planned that Attack for OSAMA and then turned him in to Authorities, while the CLINTONS sat back and did nothing after that Bombing ...except fire the FBI's lead Investigator of that WTC Bombing as he was zeroing in on Iraq's Link to it.

...To the contrary, the CLINTONS went on the cite on TV, for their own re-election purposes throughout the 1990's, RICK's own apprehending of OSAMA's Brooklyn Blind Muslim Cleric as THE example that they were not soft on Terrorism during the 1990's ..when in fact they were.

...Ironic, isn't it that RICK RESCORLA was rewarded instead by the CLINTONS with Tower 2's crashing down on him on September 11, 2001 ..after he had already saved 1,000's of other lives that morning..?

...BILL CLINTON only took a small step against OSAMA bin LADEN during his own Impeachment, launching missiles on tents, when it benefited him with a TV Diversion to look Presidential on TV to the American People while the U.S. Congress was deciding whether or not it would let him continue in Office.

During combat in Vietnam, Lt. Rick Rescorla would sing to his troops to keep their spirits high while under fire. As head of security for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in New York, Rescorla used the same tactics to calm co-workers as he led them from their offices during the attacks on the World Trade Center.

Rescorla survived battlefields in Southwest Asia, but he apparently was not so fortunate Sept. 11. Currently on the missing list, Rescorla was last seen in a 10th-floor staircase. He is credited with saving 3,800 colleagues, while sacrificing himself.

Rescorla is a featured character in "We Were Soldiers Once … And Young," a factual account of combat in Vietnam’s Ia Drang Valley. Written by Army Gen. Hal Moore and reporter Joe Galloway, the book is considered required reading among Army officers. Since the book was first published in 1996, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service has sold 47,000 copies, with more than 3,200 sold in the last year alone. The book was made into a Mel Gibson movie that is due out next spring.

"He was on the cover of the book," Galloway said, recalling the photo of Rescorla as a battle-weary lieutenant preparing for a bayonet charge with his M-16 rifle. Rescorla, 62, took charge during the terrorist attack on his building, just as if he was again in combat, Galloway said during a telephone interview from his home in Washington, D.C. "No one would have expected anything less of him," Galloway said. Rescorla was in his office on the 44th floor at 8:48 a.m., when the first plane struck the neighboring tower. At 9:10 a.m., a plane hit the second building where Morgan Stanley, an international financial services firm, had offices between the 43rd and 66th floors. Survivors said Rescorla grabbed a bullhorn and cleared out 3,800 workers from 20 floors. When newspapers published accounts of Rescorla’s calming office workers with his songs, Galloway remembered Rescorla singing Welsh mining songs during combat in Vietnam. Comrades who served with Rescorla said he would sing and tell jokes to motivate troops. "He was doing what he always did, singing to them," Galloway said. "Just as he did in battle."

In 1993, when terrorists bombed the World Trade Center, Rescorla also headed the evacuation. To get the crowd’s attention during that attack, he mooned them, Galloway said. "He was a genuine hero then," Galloway said. According to a press account, Morgan Stanley employee Bob Sloss last saw Rescorla in a 10th floor stairwell, calming the fleeing mob of office workers. "Rick was down toward the base trying to make sure people got down and out," Sloss was quoted in the report. "He was definitely there well after it had been established that the building was in trouble."

Born in Hayle, England, in 1939, Rescorla joined the U.S. Army in the 1960s and went to Vietnam as a platoon leader with the B Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry. In November 1965, his unit plunged into a battle at Landing Zone X-Ray, at the base of the Chu Pong, a 2,400-foot mountain in the Ia Drang Valley. He later survived a North Vietnamese ambush at nearby Landing Zone Albany that claimed the lives of 151 men in his unit. In the book, Rescorla played a significant part in repelling the enemy when they outnumbered his unit. Moore, the officer who led the battle at Landing Zone X-Ray, and Galloway, a UPI reporter who covered it, painted Rescorla as a likeable character, who was a skilled leader under fire. "Gen. Moore said he was the finest platoon leader in the Army," Galloway recalled.

After the war, Rescorla went to Oklahoma University on the G.I. bill, and later earned a master’s degree and a law degree. In 1989, he retired as a colonel in the Army Reserve. For the past 18 years, he had worked in security management for Morgan Stanley. During a televised celebrity fund-raiser following the attacks, Robin Williams told the nation of Rescorla’s heroism, Galloway said. Galloway said he will no doubt have Rescorla on his mind Nov. 16, as he speaks to members of the 1st Squadron, 4th U.S. Cavalry during the unit’s annual ball in Schweinfurt, Germany. "If you can go to the grave knowing you helped save people, it seems to be a life well-lived," Galloway said. "He died as he lived, a great soldier."

Deutch compromised 17,000 CIA files on his unsecure home computer logged on to Russian sites.

When investigated, Nora Slatkin covered for Deutch (Slatkin having done to CIA what Hazel O'Leary did to Energy).

Deutch split to CitiBank and brought along Slatkin (one hand washing the other).

Porter Goss' Chief of Staff John Millis was Robert Baer's predecessor at CIA. Millis warned Baer to avoid outing the Clintons' suspicious campaign donors. "Do you have any idea what you're doing? . . . .They'll come after you." [SEE NO EVIL, p. 254]

Millis had called Deutch the "worst DCI for counterintelligence" and Clinton the "worst president for counterintelligence".

Millis subsequently sucked a shotgun in a bathtub of the Breezeway Motel in Alexandria, Virginia.

Senator Robert Torricelli eviscerated CIA by mandating no hires of agents with "records".

George Tenet was John Deutch's annointed successor, a partisan Clintonite in the belly of the Bush administration.

The latest CIA buffoonery entails its admission that Iran and North Korea are further along in nuclear fuel rod processing than earlier thought.

Over at FBI Clinton ended the agency's traditional counterintelligence and counterterrorism function.

Enter Robert Mueller to crucify Coleen Rowley for daring to warn of Islamists taking flying lessons including Zacarias Moussaoui.

Per Bill Gertz' BREAKDOWN: How America's Intelligence Failures Led to September 11, Regnery, 2002, page 96:

John P. O'Neill, the chief of the FBI's counterterrorism section said in a speech in April 1996 that the threat from Islamic radicals is "the greatest threat coming to us domestically in in the United States. . . .O'Neill was killed in the Septermber 11 attacks after he had become security director for the World Trade Center.

Add that O'Neill was set up, having his briefcase of terrorism case notes stolen while attending a seminar of FBI agents. Clinton declined Osama bin Laden three times Sudan offered him.

Yet Clinton wasted 440 cruise missiles and hundreds of Precision Guided Munitions to distract from his Monica mess (July 20, 1998) and his impeachment on perjury and obstruction of justice (December, 1998).

Meanwhile Hillary smooches Suha wife of the chief al Fatah terrorist, and takes money from American Muslim Council a Hamas front.

That Hillary's most effective critic Barbara Olson was flown into the Pentagon is gravy.

Will the WMDs shuttled out of Iraq by our French and Russian allies reappear in a second catastrophic terror attack on CONUS?

Obviously CIA and FBI won't have a clue.

I also believe 9-11 wouldn't have happened if Clinton had taken up the Usama offer. From a "live quote" by Clinton in response to his biggest regret: "That I didn't get Usama".

If you had seen his face, you would know that he also believes that 9-11 would not have happened.

If I remember correctly, the "two for one" of the Clinton presidency was notice that Bubba discussed "everything" with Hillary in making a decision. It was mentioned several times in variuos speeches. Watching him being taken down, "peg by peg" via Hitlery tells me that she MAY have been influential in letting Usama go.

I'm not sure if Hitlery addresses 9-11 in her book but I'd start reading between the lines.

War Hero Braved Inferno to Save Lives

After the first hijacked plane hit the World Trade Center’s North Tower, loudspeakers advised South Tower employees to stay in their offices. Richard Rescorla, a Morgan Stanley security supervisor, didn’t agree. As was typical behavior for this Vietnam veteran and retired Army colonel, Rescorla took charge and began leading employees down the stairs.

After guiding many to safety, Rescorla, 62, headed back up to hunt for anyone who might have been left behind. He never made it back.

Many employees credit the Morristown, N.J., resident and his team with saving their lives, according to Susan, Rescorla’s wife. In an interview with The Daily Record of Morris County, N.J., Susan Rescorla said witnesses have reported that her husband was courageous and composed in the face of the danger. “He was saluting the flag. He was singing songs. He was singing ‘God Bless America,’ ” she said.

Rescorla, who was born in Great Britain but came to the United States when he was 23, earned the Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam. His varied interests included literature and screenwriting. Along with his wife, Rescorla is survived by two children, Kim and Trevor, from his first marriage.
