Supreme Court vs Bork, Buchanan, Moynihan trilogy of prophets [my title]

 Slouching toward Gomorrah - Robert Bork

"A Nation's moral life is the foundation of its culture"

-----------------

 Death of the West - Pat Buchanan

[On Dying Populations and Immigrant Invasions]

"What is happening? Socialism, the beatific vision of European intellectuals for generations, is one reason. ...By freeing husbands, wives, and children of family responsibilities, European socialists have eliminated the need for families."

-------------

Defining Deviancy Down - Senator Moynihan  Speech?

This pattern can be characterized as what Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan termed "defining deviancy down." Senator Moynihan argues that societies with high levels of crime also have low standards for what constitutes acceptable behavior.

Buchanan quotes Alexander Pope.

"Vice is a monster of so frightful mien,
As to hated needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace."

Does the Supreme Court 'follow the people'? Irreversible if we have reached the 'embrace' stage?

Unfortunately, no written document, including the Constitution protects us from 9 political appointees. There is alway a sophistry that can be employed to change the meaning of even simple, supposedly airtight, expressions. We have a politically correct society displaying it's death rattle. No birthrate, acceptance of deviantcy, abortion (aborting the Western civilization), feminism (hatred of men and established institutions of survival), quite frankly, it is hard to find bright spots in the national fabric of society. Embracing is a good word for what is happening.

Yes and with this SC decision we have picked up the pace from 'slouching' to 'full speed ahead'. The SC is bi-partisan Republicans no better than Democrats.
