This is a topic that I just don't seem to understand. Look at the Gay Pride prouds that occured all over the nation. They said they are demonstrating their freedom and lifestyle. Personally, I have no problem with anybody lifestyle as long as I don't have to pay for it or sit next to someone on a plane and have to hear about it. Still, its hard to explain to a five year about two people of the same sex showing public displays of affection not to mention the the insane behavior that goes on. Whats WalMart going to do next? Special consideration for those who committ adultry, NAMBLA followers, and S and M?

You have to explain to this same five year old why the half dressed lady on the corner ask you if you want a "BJ".
Or explain to that five year old what that guy and girl were doing on that bench in the park, or seats in the theater, or seat on the bus. To me, these things would be more revolting and traumatic for a five year old, and harder to explain to someone that young. Two people showing affection in public should be okay and acceptable, so long as it stays clean -- gay or straight!!
