BATON ROUGE - A professor at Louisiana State University has been accused of sending threatening letters to herself and pulling police away from the investigation into the South Louisiana serial killer case, authorities say.
University police arrested Deidra W. Frazier at her Baker home Wednesday. She was released on bond after being booked on 16 counts of criminal mischief and one count of terrorizing.

"Frazier, an assistant professor of education research." One of those 'heavy-duty' degrees.

Deidra W. Frazier
She'd been better off putting an ad in the local paper.
Lonely Prof. looking for excitement.

Those of us with Degrees in Advanced Basketweaving (DaB) and holding Artistic and Poetic Licenses look down our noses at those "assistant professors of education research" hacks.

Go to
this link. Frazier recently won some kind of award, and there's a pic of the award winners further down the screen.
Interim Provost Laura F. Lindsay (front row, far right) handed out 85 awards at the annual Faculty Awards Ceremony held May 13 in the Lod Cook Alumni Center. Awardees included (back row, from left) Roger McNeil, Christopher Kenny, Katherine Kemler, Ravi P. Rau, Carruth McGehee and Deidra Frazier; (front row, from left) Leigh Clemons, Judy Kahn, Jeffrey Gillespie, Anna Nardo, Nell McAnelly and Jennifer Cavenaugh.

Three women have made false reports. Ok Louisianna men, why do you have so many lonely women?
There is absolutely less tolerance
Is there absolutely no tolerance or just less tolerance? Maybe there's a correlation between lonely LA women and the lack of well spoken LA men.

When I was a police officer in Athens, Georgia about five years ago we worked an almost identical case. Professor at the University of Georgia sending threatening letters to herself and demanding more and more police protection - all the while jacking up the threats and getting more and more outrageous.
We seized her home computer and found fragments of the files left on her hard drive that she thought she had erased. She went to jail.

Had a "metrosexual" roommate once.
Absolutely wanted to kill him by the time the lease was up.

Is there absolutely no tolerance or just less tolerance? Definitely maybe. You can bank on that. <|:)~

Is there a prof at LSU who didn't win an award?

Dude, your song has taken over my computer. Windows MP opened to play the song, I pressed "stop"... no response. I closed Media Player... no response. How do I get this to stop?
To: D. Brian Carter
Not sure -- it's just a standard MIDI file that I linked to off the 'Net.
Hit "CTRL-ALT-DEL" once and see what application might still be playing the file. Close that application.
