Sure hope the bulldozer is ok.

This is an interesting incident, in that the photo evidence appeared to show Rachel in front of a garden-variety bulldozer.
The much less publicized side picture, however, showed that the bulldozer was HUGE, on the order of a Caterpillar D9 or so. In these beasts, you should wear ear protection and the driver is seated 8 feet off the ground or so; making it far less likely that the operator could even see her (and far more obvious that Rachel was doing something stupid).

Excellent. I would encourage more protesters to head on over. Feel free to go to Syria on the eve of our bombing runs there.

"There was no attempt after she was under the bulldozer to stop the work or offer medical assistance."

Oh puhlease... that dozer driver had to be shocked and horrified when he realized she got caught up in the debris pile and injured. I'd be very interested in seeing that video. If he didn't render medical aid, I'm sure it was because her friends had rushed to her side and were already doing so.
I don't care WHAT the girl's politics were, she didn't have the brain cells God gave a gnat to climb up the debris in front of a moving bulldozer...

On the bright side, she has a pretty good shot at the Darwin Award for 2003, although the competition is stiff, and the year is still young...

Haven't heard any further incidences of Evergreen students stepping in front of Israeli bulldozers. Hey the Israelis play Hardball.

The military prosecutor concluded the bulldozer's crew could not have seen or heard Corrie, the Associated Press reported Thursday. It doesn't matter to me whether the operator saw her or not. This was a military mission and Corrie was an enemy combatant in the war on terror. Going against another country's military isn't a smart thing to do.

Corrie's death was due to her own obvious lack of intelligence.

All the pictures of her and the bulldozer are great. The picture of her that will forever be in my mind is the one of her tearing up a fake American flag, surrounded by little children. The hate and viciousness on her face was telling. Someone should post the picture if they have it.
Behind all the touchy feely things the left says, the look on her face is what lies beneath the surface. There is no compromise, there is no compassion for the other side; there is only hate. There is no telling where that hatred will be pointed next, and who will suffer because of it.
Call me cold hearted; I feel little (if any) sadness at her passing, as people like her do more harm than good.
