Me too, but I was also hoping the protestors could head it off by taking over. Not realistic, I know, but hope rarely is realistic.

The mullahs are clearly insane. If they do this, there will be zero reason for resistors who are still free not to begin shooting and bombing.
If you will be hanged for marching, you may as well be hanged for shooting a mullah or blowing up a vigilante's home.
