But instead of any of this, we've now apparently got Vijpayee gone wobbly on us, somehow bit by the G.W. Bush nice guy bug. He too has now seen someone's soul; in this case, Hu's. The last thing we need right now is softness toward the PRC on the part of India! When will the incompetence stop and how can we contain its spread? When India starts to become afflicted, you know we are in big trouble!

India is playing it's version of the China card; she hopes, by acknowledging Chinese sovereignity over Tibet, it can settle it's border demarcations, hopefully shut down some of the Northeast insurgencies, and wean the Chinese away from Pakistan using the threat of Islamifundyism in Xinjiang, extremely close to Kashmir and accessible via the Karakoram highway, built with both Chinese and US funding.

Methinks they about to get burnt they way there were in 1962,
