Kenya: About 100 American companies represented there, and the United States sold over $54 million in exports to this country in 1998.

Uganda: Has 40 American companies represented and U.S. export sales were at $12 million for 1998

Tanzania: Also has 40 U.S. firms and U.S. export sales are at $10 million in 1998.
