Thanks for this informative post, Torie.

The US needs to get with it and pass that Federal Marriage Amendment. I think it would pass if pressed properly. About 85% of the House and Senate supported the DOM Act of 1996. President Bush would undoubtedly sign it and it's highly likely that at least 3/4 of states would ratify it.

The nonsense of the world is reaching the point where we must make a huge statement on this. Amendments are rarely repealed, as it takes such a huge effort to undo them. It's an excellent opportunity for conservatives and moderates to come together and do something that enjoys the support of the overwhelming majority of Americans - before it's too late.

God bless America.

Legalization of gay marriage in Canada through judicial dikat won't be the end of the matter. The next target of radical gays will be the church and synagogue and traditional religious beliefs. It shouldn't be that difficult to complete the destruction of these institutions since most of them have been hollowed out by the forces of darkness, paganism, and political correctness. Decades of amoral liberalism in Canada have left their mark. 25 years ago the development we see unfolding before our eyes would have been utterly unthinkable. Today immorality and a race to the cultural bottom is the wave of the future.
