I tried to unsubscribe recently (b/c of the bias), but they gave me a free month. Billing time is coming up, I guess I'd better call again... ;-)

You know AOL hires a lot of people and therefore provides jobs to liberals and conservatives alike. Some of us don't have time or the inclination to change. I don't think it is right to judge some on based on what ISP they use. That is just as absurd as judging someone on skin color. Just some food for thought to my fellow FReepers.

I'm with you Miss Marple. I've had AOL for years, I might leave one of these days, but for now I'm keeping it. I also have an external ISP and I'm intelligent enough to know how to populate my AIM list and my Buddy List.

It's easy enough to demonize AOL or anything else for that matter, a no brainer. There are Communities on AOL that I enjoy, just as I enjoy Free Republic.
