Hurray for the Spurs! Their defense in the second half was amazing. But could they please practice free throws before the next game?

yeah, baseball and basketball for me tonight...no hitlery for me. Although I did catch the zoo on Scarborough a couple hours ago, caught some clips of that hard-hitting interview with the Senator (ugh)....re-hash of the '98 debate, but very entertaining.

I am celtics fan, therefore, I want the Spurs to beat the nets.

A old saying of mine applies here:
You don't have to be good to win, you just have to be better than the other guys.

I'm a Hornets fan, so I want the Nets to lose. I would also like to David Robertson get a Championship ring before he retires.

I've put myself on a hard-news free diet this weekend. So right now, I think Derek Jeter striking out three times tonight is the most important story of the weekend.

Ummm...SPARTA, David ROBINSON DID get his ring when the Spurs WON the 1999 NBA CROWN. But a second one will be welcomed as well in the Alamo City.
Go SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To: Al Simmons
Forgot about 1999. Thanks.

Brent Musberger's radio coverage was insufferably biased toward New Jersey. His cheerleading for his favorites has always driven me crazy. Next game I'll get to watch on TV.

Nope. He was fired after the Hornets were beaten in the playoffs by the 76ers.
Then again, we in New Orleans are just getting used to winning sports teams.

This was the saddest, ugliest, most boring and pathetic NBA Finals game I have EVER seen.
The Sp*rs will forever have an asteriks if they win it all this year.

Here's what Sporting News has to say about the Hornets coaching problems.
New Orleans Hornets
The possibilities: Tim Floyd, Mike Fratello, Brian Hill
The scoop: Like Atlanta, this is a mystery job. Fratello has been rumored to be going to New Orleans for six months, but the team has not made its move to bring him in yet. Still, he's probably their guy.
The best guess: Fratello
