btw. that site is gettin' nuthin' outta that bike raffle. It's all goin'to Toys fer Tots, 'cept fer the prizes, last I heard. They get same as nuthin' fer that Recruit Command thing, as well.

I just found out about this post today, and I want to thank all of you who voted. I'm humbled and grateful that someone took notice of us--and I didn't even have to spend a vanity post. :-)

Thanks to you, oo-rah.com ranked over 7 on coolsite's scale of 10. If history is a reliable indicator, that should put us in the top five for the month of June at coolsiteoftheday.com. Consequently, we should be in the finals for "Cool Site of the Month."

On a related note, I expect the Marines and former Marines lurking at FreeRepublic would be able to write wonderful editorials and Sea Stories for our site (which, when selected, would be illustrated by one of our talented artists for free). Feel at liberty to ping or write me if you have any questions or suggestions. We're constantly striving to improve what we offer to the vast Marine Corps community.

Coolsiteoftheday.com has been down since Sunday (not sure what the deal is there), but voting (ranking) has already ended for oo-rah's run. When coolsite is back up and running, and we expect it to be, you'll have an opportunity all throughout July to vote for oo-rah as June's Site of the Month.
