WASHINGTON – The Homeland Security Department has barred border agents from carrying or using cell phones or pagers at federal inspection areas after a Democratic congresswoman complained about not being allowed to use her own cell phone at a major airport, officials tell WorldNetDaily.

The ban on such telecommunication devices had been in effect for foreign travelers. Now it covers federal agents in both customs and immigration services.

I remember a story years ago about a congressman who wnet to a resturant and ordered a baked potato with extra butter. When it arrived with the extra butter, he demanded more. When the waiter refused, he asked to speak to the manager. The manager also refused. At that point, the Congress said the immortal words: "do you know who I am?"

The manager replied "Yes, you are congressmen ______. Do you know who I am?"

The congressmsn said "No, Who are you?"

The manager then replied "I am the guy in charge of the butter and I say no." and walked away without further comment.
