Reply to post #1: Sounds like the murder was committed by the same vicious killers that killed o.j.s wife.

If the body was carved up and the prosecution hasn't found any blood evidence by now they have a serious problem with their case.

What happened to the story that the location of Laci's body was discovered in March? Wouldn't that be where anchors and body parts might be found?

Right now there is a reasonable doubt that Laci's body could have been dumped anytime between December and April.

Scott Petersen's lawyers are just dreaming up tales making a very big effort to create doubt in peoples minds. This is just a trick on the part of the Defense.

this is whorehaldo redux.....couldn't they at least change some of the words to make it sound like a differant story?

btw.....it was not the police who ever said that there was blood in the house, on the mop, in the truck etc etc...

in fact...the cops have said very litte....

all spin....almost like the defense has "leaked" false info just to get the public riled up....and then after that, letting the public down with all these new "denials"...

"what....no blood in the truck and no vomit on the mop?"..you mean all you have is motive, opportunity, deceitfulness, and statistical coincidence?...geesh....

Fox has greatly dissappointed me lately....I don't want them to be the spokesmen for the police, but why be Peterson's ???//

Maybe. But they need to have something solid. That he was cheating on her and not too sad is not evidence enough. Further, I'd expect his DNA to be on her (he was her husband afterall!). They'd need to have something like those missing drums that he can't account for showing up near her body with his dna on them, or something like that.

I agree with you. At the risk of being flamed by theose that already have Scott Peterson drawn and quartered and ready for the wolves, this case seems to have holes in it so big you could drive the OJ case through it and not touch the sides.

Biggest hole: total lack of evidence of the time, location, and cause of death, and no way to link it to Scott Peterson except by marraige.

If Lacy Peterson's body was in fact butchered, and there is no blood evidence in the house, in the car (truck) or in the boat, that will be seen by an open minded jury not only as a lack of evidence of Scott Peterson's guilt, but genuinely exculpatory evidence pointing to his innocence.

If the prosecuters want a conviction in this case, they ahd either come up with some solid evidence against Scott Peterson, or come up with another perpetrator against whom they CAN come up with some real evidence.

As for me, I am not saying Scott Peterson didn't do it, I have no way of knowing that. I am saying only that if the facts are as presented here, the prosecutors are headed for a real embarrasment in court.

a source close to the investigation has told Fox News.

SORRY Rita, SORRY Geraldo, but your un-named source carries the same zero credibility as un-named source in the NYTimes!

Shame on Fox for being so easily manipulated by this murderer and his evil lawyer accomplices, who are just as guilty as he is of the dual homicides.
