Posted on 05/16/2003 10:36:33 AM PDT by Not A Snowbird
Our anti-war protesters have returned to Seattle, with a new cause this time. A small but loud group is parading down 2nd avenue carrying "Larouche in 2004" signs. At least they have a hobby.

I need to keep some ready made signs in my office so when I see them coming up the street I can run downstairs and counter.
They provided us endless hours of entertainment when they were out in front of the Federal Building protesting the war. We used to take turns leaving the building and walking through them on our lunch break.

The problem is simple - look outside. The sun's come out. People in Seattle go absolutely crazy when that happens. Nobody here knows you're not supposed to look directly into it, and it tends to dry our gills. Pray for rain.

This is my very first post, so be gentle! Why should your first post be an exception?
"Larouche in 2004"
Now that is crazy. Larouche thinks Queen Elizabeth is a major drug-runner, and that's only the start. Any search on Larouche is like reading about Alice visiting Wonderland, or Dorothy in Oz.

LOL! I figured that out after my first double-take.
These folks looked like college kids who didn't have class today. I hope they enjoy the thunderstorms and hail that are predicted for later today!

Seattle could be likened to Oz at times... without the nice multicolored ponies, of course!

So true! The last time the sun came out we had a 30+ car pileup on I-5.

The more the merrier! It's fun watching them poke each other. Whoever's left standing from that group will be too damaged to make a serious run.
