Bush's visit on rainy day lifts spirits in Pierce City

PIERCE CITY, Mo. - Steve Young squeegeed rainwater from his two-bay auto repair shop shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday and talked about the value of President George W. Bush visiting this tornado-decimated town.

"It's probably going to build a lot of confidence," Young said, a camouflage-color ball cap pushed back on his head. "People need a little reassurance to try to get through."
