I think SARS is a totally completely different virus from HIV, which is a retrovirus, iirc...another whole type from coronaviruses, if I have my facts straight.

But, all this is premature. It isn't still certain what causes the lung damage.

It's hard to target if the mechanism of pathology isn't even known.
