Hey, I'm an animal. She can look after me anytime...
To: SlickWillard
Her face looks really round, all of the sudden.

Good grief. Being involved in a fundraiser for the ASPCA does not make one an animal rights activist. It perhaps shows one has compassion for homeless pet species, but that is not at all the same thing.

What's wrong with the ASPCA? This is hardly PETA...what a silly premise for a posting headline.

See all the L'Oreal logos in the background? I tend to doubt they would sponsor any hardcore animal rights event, since one of the things those wackos get up in arms about is cosmetics testing.

The Humane Society, originally similar to SPCA, now supports the re-wilding of America to a pre-Columbian state... They support getting rid of roads and motorized vehicles in the name of ending road-kill. It's become a priority for them!

I agree. I got my Cat at the ASPCA. When you hear about locals beating, starving, and just plain abusing their pets...the ASPCA are the guys who handle the situation. Ever watch animal cops on animal planet?

Dear Slick,
I attend an ASPCA dinner almost every year, I also duck, dove and quail hunt, fish and carry a concealed weapon. You think I'm an animal rights activist also?

Got a source on this ? I checked their site and they are a bunch of crazies, but this sounds too good to be true - like it came from The Onion.

I guess I'm an animal rights person, too, if it's defined by supporting SPCA and the local animal rescue organization.
My guess is she is a vegetarian because of the model weight thingy.

What's that picture all about, trying to distance oneself from Texas?!!? Is she not proud of Texas? Is she from Texas or Florida?

I am all for the rescuing and adopting of homeless and abused animals.... I am an animal rights activist too.

What - as soneone who worked until last year for the Humane Society at a manager level - I never heard anyone mention anything like what you are saying.
