'A number of stories in the media have reported that I have engaged in high stakes gambling over the past decade. It is true that I have gambled large sums of money. I have also complied with all laws on reporting wins and losses.
Nevertheless, I have done too much gambling, and this is not an example I wish to set. Therefore, my gambling days are over...'

Good U-turn.
His "It's my money and I broke no laws" crap does not pass the "prostitution is legal in parts of Nevada" test.
Does he have the same PR agency as Natalie Maines?

Apparently not:
"Nevertheless, I have done too much gambling, and this is not an example I wish to set. Therefore, my gambling days are over..."

The State wants us to gamble.
"Just a Dollar and a dream"
"You need to be in it to Win it"
It goes to education so poor people go head and blow your rent money.
What hypocrisy!!!!

Bill Bennett has always been sensitive to improving himself. When he became drug czar and the media complained of his smoking, he quit smoking. Next they will complain of his paunch, and he will probably become more trim.
To: dogbyte12
Republican: I did do it, I'm guilty. I will discontinue this activity.
DemonRat:
1. Ah did not have wagerging relations with that slot machine.
2. I had a relationship with that gambling device that was inappropriate.
3. Technically, what I did was not gambling.
4. Now I have to get back to doing the work of Ceasar's Palace.

No, actually he should say that there is a VAST LEFT WING CONSPIRACY who is responsible.

Well, Bennett is still my man. He has quit what is apparently his sole vice at the drop of a hat because he doesn't want to set a bad example. Do you think we'll see all the pedophiles, pornographers, dopers, neo-com traitors, etc., on the left, who have delighted in his exposure, do the same, in order to set an example for the kiddies? He's more virtuous by a mile than all his democrat critics combined. No comment on his Republican critics.

And have you stopped beating your wife?
I love the fantical conservative cannibals.
The only diffeence between them and the taliban is the way they address their gawd.
A pox on you all, you would complain if someone hung you with a new rope.

Well, good for him...a good start, anyway.
Of course, my sympathy for his situation as increased about a zillion percent since yesterday since it appears his wife is on his case. Ouch.
Now I have a wonderful sweetie of 33 years, but you just gotta feel for a guy in that situation.

The only way Bennett is going to redeem himself with the left is to snag a blow job from a young girl in the oval office. Then he would be a hero.
To: Senator Pardek
Not to sound overly religious, but please reference the appropriate passages from the Bible regarding prostitution and adultery and those related to gambling. Answer: Gambling isn't specifically mentioned as a vice in the Bible.
To: Senator Pardek
Does he have the same PR agency as Natalie Maines?Maybe she should hire his. If she had said her bashing Bush on foreign soil days are over, she'd score some points.
