If there had been a video camera at the party I doubt if LE would still be the coach. That may be the only thing that saves him.
Hey ewing, you and I have different opinions on this thing, but there are some discrepancies in the reporting. This report indicates that someone was mad at the coach for hangin' on his girlfriend, while the Iowa paper quotes the guy as saying it was his sister. The Register reports the confrontation happened at 1:30am, while this report has him
arriving at 2am.
I think we all agree that the coach is an idiot, and will probably pay dearly for this incident. But the specific anecdotes about his behavior are suspect, in my opinion, coming from a kid at a rival school who can't tell his sister from his girlfriend.
It's actually a coup on the kid's part; what Florida fan wouldn't want to expose Bobby Bowden at FSU, or Chapel Hill student rat out Coach K? Good times...
