Sars, in recent weeks, killed more than 130 and the epidemic is nowhere near its peak.

Yeah right! 130 I believe that don't you. Hong Kong officially has more deaths last I looked. The epidemic started in China. That just doesn't make any sense to me. They are lying through their teeth.

It is silly for the Chinese to claim that they have more cases than anyone and only about as many deaths as HK. How can anyone believe that? And if it was true, why are they shutting down Beijing? I'm sure both figures are false. I'm also sure that they don't even know what they are dealing with but have a better idea than what they're saying.

On a side note, with individuals, when they lie now and then, it becomes a habit until they never can tell the truth. Probably the same for gov'ts.
