It sounds like if scientists and doctors finally figure out what makes the SARS virus "tick" and how to stop it, they may learn things that can be applied to treating other diseases.

I hope so but with this virus it is more the case the closer they are to knowing something about it the farther they are from knowing ANYTHING about it. It is a case of if you do not like what they are saying they know about it, stick around the info will change.
