Rummy is an idiot. The chosen/anointed Army Chief of Staff, GEN Keane said so by turning down the position.
I don't think there is a replacement yet, and I'd like to know who it might be.

Rummy is an idiot.He just oversaw one of the most lopsided military victories in the history of the world. I'm sorry if that's not up to your standards, but Secretary Rumsfeld more than meets my expectations for a Secretary of Defense.
I only wish other federal goverment departments were run as well.

Nothing amuses me more than uninformed armchair quarterbacks name-calling statesman with immense credentials like Rumsfield. If you want to retain any dignity at all when critiquing statesmen with far more experience and knowledge than yourself, employ reasoned opinion, not puerile name-calling.
