Fox News Radio Commerical a Hoot! (My Tittle)

Posted on 04/25/2003 12:01:30 PM PDT by dwswager

I just happened to hear a new Fox News radio commercial and it is hillarious. It's a rebuttal to the anti-american crowd whining about patriotic news coverage. The best line is something like:

"We believe news organizations should not be lap dogs for dictators or reflexively critical of america."

Anyone else hear this?

YES! I heard it also on Dallas-Ft. Worth Radio station WBAP. Fox has been smokin' all of the other news outlets for quite some time now. I guess that the liberal stations will continue the decline or wake up & tell the WHOLE TRUTH.
FOX ROCKS!

Fox also has this same commercial running on TV. I could not believe it the first time I heard it--cheers for Fox!

"We believe news organizations should not be lap dogs for dictators or reflexively critical of america."

I actually saw this on the FNC yesterday. It said: "We believe news organizations should not be lap dogs for dictators; attack dogs toward America (or something like that); but, watch dogs .... (can't quite remember the end).

I thought it was great --- and the "lap dogs to dictators" was a great slam of CNN.

I saw it for the first time just the other day and was stunned, then deeply amused. It seems to me that Fox has a pretty healthy sense of humor. Refreshing not to see them take themselves too seriously.....

The TV commercial talks about lapdogs for dictators (Slam to CNN), anti-American attack dogs (ABCNBCBSLIES), and then says FOX is a watchdog for the American people.

Gotta love FOX! Smart AND with a sense of humor! Devastating combination.

Good for FoxNews! Now, if the RNC could exhibit a little of this attitude, we could engage the mainstream lib press and entertainment in the important culture war.

This is exactly the style needed.
