Robbins threw a tantrum, pouting about the evil conservative conspiracy, a cold wind blowing, the world is against him, blah, blah blah…

That's the luxury of being a liberal. It's always somebody else's fault.

That was an excellent piece. Robbins and others think it is McCarthyism if people decide they don't want to listen to them and demand for their services falls. But Robbins et al want people not to listen to Bush and have the demand for HIS services to fall (to the point where Hillary or someother Dem is elected to President). Robbins is so puffed-up in his rage that he doesn't see that he is practicing EXACTLY what he claims Fox News and other market participants practice.

For Robbins, Sarandon, Streisand and others, it is just plain old sour grapes.

Since this is a piece about Hollywood:

IN THE VOICE OF HANNIBAL LECTOR: "That was good".

I had not read a lot of Tom Adkins. Found this one enjoyable, well put. Perhaps a bit overdone on the baseball theme but not enough to kill the point being made.

"It's always somebody else's fault."

Well, of course it's somebody else's fault when a couple of Hollywood looney tunes fall flat on their faces after trying to use the President of the Baseball Hall of Fame to poke a stick in the eye of the former Managing General Partner of the Texas Rangers baseball club who just happens to now be the President of the United States.

Stupidity like this is breath-taking.

Good article. Thanks for posting.

Robbins and 'Team Left' don't seem to understand Freedom Of Speech only means you don't get jailed, hung or shot for what you say. Not that others have to sit on the bench and take it.

Oh yeah. That wanker Robbins thinks that people will believe him if he uses some phony accent and reads his speech like it's some piece of Shakespeare literature. Sorry, Timmy, you and your career are washed-up and it's past the time to hit the road.

See post #5 under the "Being A Celebrity...Scott Paisley" thread. It sums up my sentiments about today's Hollyweird.

Here's how it is, you big wussy… Most Americans got a major wake-up call on September 11, 2001. And over the following months, they figured out that 40 years of liberal policies, from indecisive handling of terrorists to anti-American self loathing had a big hand in creating the terrorist strikes. And now? They love America. They will fight for their country. And if you don't like that? Expect a lot of nasty sliders at your face and spikes-high slides into second base. They'll even throw popcorn and dump beer on you after the home team whups your butt. And right now, Hollywood is on a long losing streak.

A soldier in Baghdad said, "I was in the Pentagon on 9/11, I don't give a f*ck" I think many of us have similar feelings even if we werent't there at the time.

France, russia, and germany are on losing streaks as well.

The nutty Hollywoodites are so astounded at the 'backlash' simply because they move in a world where everyone agrees with them and sucks up to them.

They've just been slapped in the face with the real world. And they are shocked and awed!!
