Kurdish officials say a mass unmarked grave that contains up to 3,000 bodies has been found just outside the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk. They say the area was used by the Iraqi army to bury the Kurds they killed in the late 1980s.
The site of the grave lies close to an old Iraqi base, but so far there has been no independent verification or extensive excavation of the site.
During the 1980s at least 100,000 Kurds were killed in Saddam Hussein's policy of ethnic cleansing in Iraq.
Bodies recovered
BBC correspondent Dumeetha Luthra says little mounds of dust show where the bodies have been buried.
Kurds did dig up two graves on Wednesday and say they found a woman wrapped in plastic and covered in dried blood.
The other grave, they say, held a man with remnants of a Kurdish soldier's uniform.
The correspondent says people have been told not to tamper with the site.
She added the fact that no one was allowed to see the bodies being buried is suspicious.

When will the CNN part of ABCNNBCBS cover this evil.
When will the NY/LA SLIMES, WASHINGTON COMPOST, BOSTON GLOBE, CHICAGO TRIBUNE, SF GAYRHONICLE and other fishwraps cover this.
Or will they continue their mantras about the looting of the fake treasures in the Baghdad Museum. That mantra is as worn out as the Lack of Gravitas mantra.

President Bush has no Gravitas, and his War for Oil looted a broken chamber pot from the Baghdad museum.
Expect the Follywood Fairies to protest the lack of Gravitas, the war for oil and the looted broken Chamber pot.

I think more and more of these mass graves will be found. And very little of it reported by the usual libmedia suspects.

The liberal media has no shame & no courage to report the truth. They have no interest in showing the regime of Saddam was as able as believed. They have no interest in a free & prosperous Iraq. Their objective is to sustain & further socialism, Baathist, Communist or otherwise, however they can.
