It sounds like God did do a little talking to David at the end there. I hope the way is a little smoother for his widow and the girls on account of it.

Hundreds of people filled St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City Wednesday afternoon to bid farewell to NBC news correspondent David Bloom.
The 39-year-old anchor of 'Weekend Today' died suddenly of a blood clot while reporting from Iraq on April 5th.
In a prophetic note written to his wife earlier that day he said, "When the moment comes in my life when you are talking about my last days, I am determined that you and others will say, 'He was devoted to his wife and children. He was admired. He gave every ounce of his being for those whom he cared most about. Not himself, but god and his family.'"
Today he was remembered as one of the most talented news reporters of our time and the way he wanted to be: as husband to Melanie and father to his three daughters: Christine, Ava and Nicole.

David Bloom will be missed. How wonderful that he made his peace before he died. I hope his family is comforted in this knowledge. BTTT
Does anyone remember Larry Buchman of ABC News? Killed in 1977 when his plane went down over Amman, Jordan. Buchman also left a 30ish blonde widow and three girls, around the same ages. Eerie.
Sorry to go a bit off topic, but this reminds me of the memorial service (also at St. Patrick's) scheduled for the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan that was cancelled by his family.
Anybody got the scoop on that cancellation? Did the family just not want to see Hitlary there?
