I just saw Tim "Bull Durham" Robbins on the Today Show complaining about his Cooperstown gig being cancelled. If you're not familiar with the story, click here.
During the interview, Robbins stated, "If you disagree with this (Bush) administration, you will be punished." When asked about the recent public protests against the Dixie Chicks Robbins replied, "Let's not forget the connection with Clear Channel and the Bush administration, or between Petroskey (president of BHOF) and the Reagan administration.
And Robbins goes on for approximately two minutes until the Today show theme music drowns him out and they cut to commercial while he continues to babble on about Afghanistan, Nicaragua, etc. After they returned from their break, Katie and Matt were outside and Robbins was nowhere to be seen. After a few minutes, he was back on with Matt to finish his thoughts. Work out the behind the scenes whining that must have taken place for yourself.

I saw him. Little do these people realize that the people who don't like what they have to say also have the right to disagree with them. I get the feeling that the only people with free speech rights are the ones who are complaining about it. It seems to me that if you react to a statement the left has made, they whine and in the same breath state that their right to free speech is being trampled on while they won't afford you those same rights.

If memory serves the lords of baseball "disinvited" John Rocker from playing due to his outspoken beliefs. Don't remember Tim Robbins going on the Today Show to defend him. Then again, I don't watch the Today Show so for all I know he may have.

Tim Robbins needs to buy a dictionary and find out the meaning of the word "consequences."

I think Matt and Katie love stiring the pot. But the more these bafoons speak their stupid blame game the more they look like stupid people that vasts majorities of us don't want to watch or hear.
I love my MILITARY. I love FOX news..... I am thankful for RUSH, HANNITY, GLENN BECK, on and on.
We don't have to take the Sean Penns, Susan Surrandans, Tim Robbins, Bill and Hillary Clintons, Tom Dasholes, of this world. They are negative mean and spew hate!

The first time I "saw" Tim Robbins was when he was on the old Arsenio Hall show. He was complaining about the people moving into Greenwich Village who were not "cool" like the people already living there.

Whoa the old who.. Susan is looking a little plump these days. That's OK she's a character actor, always playing the over aged slut. I guess art really does reflect life.
