I'm 26. My first memories of Geraldo/Jerry are of him getting his nose broken by a chair weilded by some KKK member on some sleazy talk show he hosted. I'm a lot older than 26 and I first took not of Jerry on an ABC late night show in the early 70s called Good Night America.
He was busy trying to be a hip, cool, younger version of Dick Cavett. At least I think he was. I didn't get him then. And I don't get him now. Except whatever he covers, it's all about him.
