The biggest obatacle to doing what is necessary to protect ourselves is the combination of leftist organizations in the USA, including the media and the Democrats. They will go into full attack mode about everything from the costs (we need it here in America), our "arrogance", etc., etc., etc. I only hope the Bush administration doesn't go political on us.
