Have you shown your family the communist web sites and communist threads on DU orchestrating these cults. Maybe they need a real jolt, rather than reason. Don't forget to remind them about the bad points of communism, ie no free speech and closed borders.
That is assuming that their views are based on beliefs with which one could reason. These are hard-core Noam Chomsky, Ramsey Clark types who
personally know these people. It is their
religion, not their politics. They truly believe that 9-11 was a plot by the government to create the excuse for an imperialistic takeover of the oilfields throughout the ME and Asia, and that more "Pearl Harbor" actions will be forthcoming in order to extend their [our governments'] jack-booted raw, naked power.
