Rummy just received a stupid question about the dire humanitarian situation. He went off on the guy about the question assuming that the situation just occurred. He explained that people will finally be able to go into Iraq and see how terrible the situation of the people there really is, and that they will report it as if the situation just occurred. He then in painstaking detail explained how the Brits improved the situation in Um Qasr and Basra.
HE THEN LOOKED STRAIGHT AT THE REPORTER, POINTED HIS FINGER, AND SAID: YOUR PREMISE IS WRONG!!!
GO RUMMY!!! Another Saturday Night Live moment!

I am watching the press briefing! Collectively, the reporters are idiots with stupid questions! Would be easier to pick out questions that are important and on topic because there are very few of those so far!
Some idiot reporter sounds sad that we are near defeating Saddam and his regime. Idiot wants SecDef Rumsfeld to give him weeks or months until it is over! I cannot believe these questions!

I beg to differ. Brett asked his 2 question limit and both questions only required a one word answer so Rummy moved on.
I do notice a sort of glee in the press room today. Of course there is no limit to stupid questions... How long before we have all of Iraq?
