Ithaca College plans to host a series of seven lectures and a film in April in celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Awareness Month. All events are free and open to the public.
A lecture titled "Queer Reading/Reading Queer: Introducing Queer Studies in the First-Year Composition classroom" is planned for noon Tuesday in 101 Textor Hall. Mary Beth O'Connor, assistant professor of writing, will give the lecture.

Do they happen to offer a degree in "Queer Studies"? I've gotta think that must look pretty good heading up a resume.

...a lecture on gays and lesbians being targeted by tobacco companies on April 24. So now the fags are being "targeted" by big tobacco. All you hiv-positive bone-smokers out there - you better not smoke - it's harmful to your health.

They do it here, too. We had a person here who was a transgender, last year about this time. So strange. Very boyish but had a girl's voice, wore a man's tie and clothing and had short dyed pink hair. Some are so strange and troubled.

I would except this liberal trash at Cornell, but Ithaca? During the mid 1980's my sister attended Cornell. She told me the smart ones go to Cornell, while the party animals go to Ithaca College. How quickly things change.

Is there a heterosexual awareness month? No? Didn't think so. This is just another 'recruiting' effort.
