I lived in North Idaho, long KNOWN to be the home of the Aryan Nation of white supremacists. Actually, there were about 14 old Aryan guys living on a ranch near Hayden Lake, the rumoured "hotbed" of supremacists but actually a lovely community with more Cadillacs than Fords.

The Aryans threw a parade in Coeur d'Alene, and a million police officers showed up to make sure the supremacist crowd didn't misbehave. The world's media was there to report on these miscreants. However, fewer than 100 marchers paraded down the street and hardly any people turned out to watch and most of those who did were plainclothesmen.

To satisfy my curiosity, I checked it out personally while ostensibly walking my dog though town. My Keeshond and I are probably listed by the FBI as white supremacist sympathizers. LOL

Just a guess, but I would think that most hard core of these people don't parade their beliefs down the street and wave banners.....
